We talk with Holly Giannoccaro lead singer and guitarist of the band Pulled from Panels. You might have caught the Pulled from Panels song The Winter Soldier when we played it on our show a couple of weeks back. Holly is on to talk about VS, the new E.P. from which that song is from. Focusing on superheroes of the Marvel variety, Pulled from Panels have produced a very geeky album.

Our review of the Netflix original Daredevil Season 2 starring Charlie CoxDeborah Ann WollJon Bernthal . Synopsis: Daredevil follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil, fighting crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. This season see’s the Nelson and Murdock law firm struggling to keep up with all the cases they have gotten as a result of helping to put Wilson Fisk in prison last season. With the new vigilante The Punisher bloodying the streets and the biggest trial of their lives just starting, a strain on the friendship between Matt and Foggy develops. As Matt needs to make a choice regarding the firm and his nightly duties. This is made more difficult by the return of an old flame from college and a new enemy reveals itself to Daredevil. Hell’s Kitchen is getting ready to explode into violence in this season.

We also talk with Matt Sadowski to chat about his new web series, The Brief. Shot completely in house at Toronto-based Elemental Inc., The Brief is a comedy that gives you an inside look into the world of an advertising firm. Matt will be on to talk about  making the show and his own experiences working for an ad agency (and which real life moments inspired the series). Be sure to check out The Brief at thebriefseries.com.

Mr. Green

Host/Producer at Geek Hard
Mr. Green LOVES television. Actually quit Beavers as a child because he couldn't watch re-runs of Rat Patrol. The love didn't stop there, soon he discovered Tom Baker's Doctor Who... the rest, as they say, is history. When he isn't doing the radio version of Geek Hard each Friday @ 7pm on Reality Radio 101 or watching hours of TV, he tries in vain to sleep as much as possible.
