We discuss San Diego Comic Con news & announcements. We also highlight our best movie trailer (Justice League, Wonder Woman, Kong: Skull Island, LEGO Batman, etc.), best television show trailer (The Walking Dead, The Flash, Arrow, Legion, Sherlock, Iron Fist, etc.), best announcement, best panel, best overall showing (DC, Marvel, Image, Warner Bros, Disney, etc.) and the property we are most looking forward to. There’s a lot to talk about here.

Our review of Jason Bourne starring Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander . Synopsis: It’s been 10 years since Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) walked away from the agency that trained him to become a deadly weapon. Hoping to draw him out of the shadows, CIA director Robert Dewey assigns hacker and counterinsurgency expert Heather Lee to find him. Lee suspects that former operative Nicky Parsons is also looking for him. As she begins tracking the duo, Bourne finds himself back in action battling a sinister network that utilizes terror and technology to maintain unchecked power.

We also talk with cartoonist Faith Erin Hicks. Faith’s most recent graphic novel, The Nameless City, came out earlier this year. Listen as Faith discusses the first chapter in this trilogy of books as well a number of other projects she’s been involved in. She’s a great guest to talk about all the great comics that she is doing including Comics Will Break Your Heart a YA novel that she has written. A novel that touches on love, betrayal and the history of comic creator rights.

It was a great show!

Plus for our Patreon supporters, our latest Geek Hard Extra After Credits segment discussing the new release of DC’s The Killing Joke. We give our review of the this latest offering from DC/WB Animation.

Mr. Green

Host/Producer at Geek Hard
Mr. Green LOVES television. Actually quit Beavers as a child because he couldn't watch re-runs of Rat Patrol. The love didn't stop there, soon he discovered Tom Baker's Doctor Who... the rest, as they say, is history. When he isn't doing the radio version of Geek Hard each Friday @ 7pm on Reality Radio 101 or watching hours of TV, he tries in vain to sleep as much as possible.
