We discuss the latest appearance of Matthew McConaughey(?) how is on to share his unique look on all things nerdy and the universe as usual. We also have the return of the Geek Hard Music Club. We play a track from The PDX Broadsides latest album Something Rotten, Catatonic. The song is about fans meetings their celebrity idols and how that sometimes goes awry.

We take a look at the upcoming Fall TV lineup. If you’ve listened to Geek Hard over the years, you know that we like to talk about geek and genre television at great length. We especially love to prepare you all for the new t.v. series that come our way. And we’ve reached that time of year again where an abundance of new shows are on the horizon. Join us as we take a look at the upcoming Fall TV season. We be break down the new programs for September thru December for Network, Cable and streaming services. Take a listen and maybe you’ll hear about a new show that’ll pique your interest.

But that’s not all as we’ll also be taking a trip back to 1986 to talk about one of the biggest animated films (and bigger financial flops) of that decade – Transformers: The Movie. The animated film is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary this year and will be sporting a new Blu-ray Edition in September. Before that comes to be, Andrew and Mr. Green (and Mr. McConaughey) will be giving their thoughts on the legacy of the film and what it means to Transformers fans.

It was a great show!

Plus for our Patreon supporters, our latest Geek Hard Extra After Credits segment discussing some more of Fall TV  lineup as we look at the returning.

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!

Mr. Green

Host/Producer at Geek Hard
Mr. Green LOVES television. Actually quit Beavers as a child because he couldn't watch re-runs of Rat Patrol. The love didn't stop there, soon he discovered Tom Baker's Doctor Who... the rest, as they say, is history. When he isn't doing the radio version of Geek Hard each Friday @ 7pm on Reality Radio 101 or watching hours of TV, he tries in vain to sleep as much as possible.
