This week, we just can’t wait to do the show……so we’re bringing it to you a whole TWO days early!
Don’t miss this Wedneday’s Geek Hard special where we talk about all things TIFF. The Toronto International Film Festival has become a staple of the movie going world. Much like Cannes, Sundance and Telluride, TIFF is one of the biggest film fests out there, bringing in movie fans from across the globe. The festival wrapped up this past weekend and we’re going to give you a rundown of everything that went down. Joined via phone by our man at TIFF, writer and editor Will Perkins (Art of the Title, Dork Shelf), we’ll be finding out which films were the best and worst of the fest. Here’s a quick bio on Will:
Based in Toronto, Will Perkins is the co-founder & editor-in-chief of the hyper-local geek media site DorkShelf.com. When he’s not busy with that – which isn’t often – he’s also a freelance writer and journalist who enjoys writing about film and video games.
For more on Will, check out his Website and be sure to listen this Wednesday as he breaks down TIFF for us.
We’ll also be going a little in depth with our review of one of the films that debuted at TIFF: ARQ. A time travel thriller starring Robbie Amell, ARQ was part of TIFF’s “Discovery” programing and is now available on Netflix. Is it worth the watch? Find out as Andrew and Mr. Green give their thoughts on the Netflix Original Movie this Wednesday.
All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This WEDNESDAY at 7pm Eastern on the station that don’t give a TIFF about time loops, www.realityradio101.com.
If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
