This week we talk comics and movies…..big surprise there, right?

Don’t miss this Friday’s show as Andrew and Mr. Green will be talking about super ladies from both Marvel and DC with a very special guest. Joining them via phone will be comic creator and YA Novelist Mariko Tamaki. Mariko has just recently had two new comic titles released, Supergirl: Being Super for DC and Hulk for Marvel. She’ll be on to tell us about both series and what to expect in the coming issues for┬áJennifer Walters and Kara in their respective books. Here’s a quick bio on Markio:

Mariko Tamaki is a Canadian writer living in Oakland. Works include New York Times bestseller This One Summer (First Second/Groundwood Books) and Skim (Groundwood Books), with Jillian Tamaki, Emiko Superstar (DC Comics), with Steve Rolston, and the YA novel (You) Set Me on Fire (Penguin Canada). This One Summer was the winner of Printz and Caldecott Honors in 2015 and received the Eisner for Best Graphic Album (New).

For more info on Markio Tamaki, check out her website and be sure to listen to our interview with her this Friday.

But that’s not all! We’ve also got a movie review coming your way as we take a look at Split, the new film from M. Night Shyamalan. M. Night wrote, directed and produced this new thriller starring James McAvoy, so who know’s what we’re in for. Will it be a pleasant surprise like 2015’s The Visit? Or will it remind us why too many twists is a bad thing? Find out this Friday as Andrew and Mr. Green give their honest opinions.

All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that never splits hairs about good comics, realityradio101.com.

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!

Will Split call it down the middle or will it foul out? Find out this Friday.
