Don’t miss this Friday’s Geek Hard as we’ve got a big movie review and guests galore coming your way. Up first, Andrew and Mr. Green will be joined via phone by Wes Chatham who plays Amos Burton on The Expanse. The popular Syfy series has returned to television and Wes will be on to talk about the success of the series as well as what to expect as the new season unfolds. Here’s a quick bio on Wes:
Wes Chatham’s film credits include In the Valley of Elah, W., The Help and The Town That Dreaded Sundown. He’s perhaps best known for his portrayal of Castor in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Part 2. Wes’ television credits include Sleeper Cell, Barbershop, The Unit and The Mentalist. But that’s not the only guest who will be joining us. Also calling in will be Mika Collins, one of the stars and co-creator of Deep Six, an upcoming hard sci-fi web series that just wrapped production. Deep Six is the story of an elite group of astronauts on a mission in deep space who must fend for themselves after an accident cuts them off from communicating with Earth. Mika will be on to tell us all about the inner workers of this new series from behind and in front of the camera. Here’s a quick bio on Mika:
Mika Collins is an award-winning writer and performer originally from South Africa, and is co-creator of Deep Six. Her writing credits include the upcoming Netflix/Showcase original series, Travelers, Smokebomb’s V Morgan is Dead, the award-winning short film, The Pamplemousse, and the one-person play, Capturing Freedom. Mika’s an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre’s Prime Time TV Writing Residency and finalist for the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab.
