Welcome Friends and movie lovers to Season TWO of Terry Knows Movies. Terry Huddleston is an artist who can be found showcasing his artwork at conventions and shows across North America. He’s also a ravenous consumer of movies and a bit of an armchair critic. Let Terry share his knowledge with you as mixes old school and new school nerd knowledge to tell you exactly why a particular movie rocked or sucked.

Fandom. A word used to describe geek culture on the regular. If you’re really into something that’s considered nerdy or geeky, you most likely belong to the world of fandom. That’s pretty cool. But there are those in fandom who take it too seriously. Some use it as an excuse not to be inclusive. Some even hide behind fandom to be dicks from time to time. This has lead a number of folks on the interwebs to declare fandom “broken”. But is that truly the case? Are the views of the many represented by the voices of the few? If a fanboy or fangirl says shitty things at the expense of others, does that represent the community on a whole?

This episode, Terry gives his thoughts on the matter. Will he deem fandom “broken” as other have before him? Or will he see hope in geek culture? Find out by watching the video!

So that’s all for this week’s episode of Terry Knows Movies. Be sure to check out the next episode full of wit wisdom, dropping on March 17th. In the meantime, send us an email at geekhardshow@gmail.com or leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts on Fandom.
