Welcome friends to Back Issue Bloodbath, a comics-centric podcast presented by Geek Hard. Join hosts Andrew Young and Sammy Younan as they get down and dirty in the four-colour world of comic books, focusing on classic stories, new issues, comic creators and hot button topics.

Every comic book character has that one story that stands out with fans above all the rest as the best. A defining moment in the characters’ lives that will forever cement their comic as truly great. For some it’s a long running debate. There are many that feel that Batman’s best story is “The Dark Knight Returns” where others choose “The Killing Joke“. With Spider-man, “Kraven’s Last Hunt“, “The Death of Gwen Stacy” and the origin story in Amazing Fantasy #15 all vie for the title. But when it comes to The Teen Titans, most fans can agree on one definitive winner: The Judas Contract.

Join Andrew and Sammy as they look back on an iconic comic story from the early eighties. There’s a traitor among the Titans and they’ve helped Deathstroke the Terminator learn all their secrets. There’s action, drama and a few risque situations that were very uncommon for mainstream comics at the time. The Judas Contract also stands out as it reveals Deathstroke’s origin tale and showcases Dick Grayson’s transformation from Robin the Boy Wonder to Nightwing. It’s time to bring the Titans together as we look back on one of the most celebrated works of Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s careers on an ALL NEW Back Issue Bloodbath.
