This week, we bring you a mix of moives, television and video games. A well balanced diet.

Don’t miss this Friday’s episode of Geek Hard where we’ve got a couple of great guests coming your way. First up is actor Jodelle Ferland. Fans of the SPACE/Syfy hit Dark Matter know her better as Five. Jodelle will be on to talk about the current season and what to expect as we get closer to the end of it. Here’s a quick bio on Jodelle:

Jodelle Ferland is a Canadian actress. She portrayed Mary Jensen in the 2004 ABC television series Kingdom Hospital, Bree Tanner in the 2010 film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and Five in the 2015 Syfy television series Dark Matter. She also starred in multiple horror or horror-related films, such as Sharon/Alessa in Silent Hill, Lillith Sullivan in Case 39, Jenny in The Tall Man, Patience Buckner in The Cabin in the Woods, and Agatha Prenderghast in ParaNorman.

For more on Jodelle Ferland, be sure to catch our interview with her this Friday.

Our second guest of the evening is known to gamers as the Host of X-Box AllForOne, Marissa Roberto. She’s also the brand manager for Northern Arena, Canada’s leader in esports. Marissa will be on to tell us all about the Northern Arena Knockout 2017 Circuit, hosting Street Fighter V tournaments happening throughout August in Montreal, Toronto and Hamilton. Here’s a quick bio on Marissa:

Marissa Roberto is an experienced TV host, writer, producer, and director. (At least, that’s what she tells her mother.) She’s also a savvy pop culture critic, movie reviewer, and espresso connoisseur. Marissa has travelled the world interviewing AAA-class creators, storytellers, and actors. She’s the former anchor of the geek-centric TV shows EP Daily and Reviews on the Run, and can now be found hosting Xbox Canada’s online community show: Xbox AllForOne.

For more on Northern Arena’s upcoming events, check out their website and be sure listen to our interview with Marissa this Friday.

We’ll also take another trip to the cinema as we review The Dark Tower. Will this film live up to the Stephen King novel? Will it be a big disappointment? Find out this Friday as Andrew and Mr. Green give their honest opinion.

All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that loves the dark, realityradio101.com.

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
