Last week (August 31st to September 3rd), Fan Expo Canada took over the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in glorious fashion. Celebs, comic creators, cosplayers and fans filled the venue and geeked out with each other. Geek Hard was there.

Check out the first installment of our video coverage from Fan Expo Canada 2017 and relive the fun of this grand event. You’ll see Andrew interview actor Kristin Kreuk (formerly of Smallville and Beauty and the Beast fame) about her recent turn as a starring character in the new video game Shuyan Saga. Mr. Green is also in the house as he catches up with actor Wes Chatham (of The Expanse) and the two compare beards. Plus there’s some comic creator action with appearances by artist Michael Walsh and writer Conor McCreery. The show was lots of fun and this is the first of many videos we have to show for it.

Check it out!

Geek Hard would like to thank Try This On For Size for sponsoring our Fan Expo Canada 2017 video coverage. If you’re looking for a cool, fandom-inspired shirt, TTOFS is the place to go.

We’ve got plenty more videos to come. Be sure to check back here (and at our Youtube channel and Facebook Page) next week for more crazy antics and merry mayhem on the convention floor. Thanks to Fan Expo Canada 2017 for having us and we can’t wait to do it all again next year.

Next week brings us part 2 of our coverage of Fan Expo Canada 2017 with an interview with actor Jason Mewes about the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob Reboot as well as Mr. Green getting up close and personal with some big stars of one the most popular cartoons of all time. Dontcha dare miss it!

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
