Geek Hard’s Back on Reality Radio 101 this week and we’re LIVE! Yeah, that can’t be good.
This week, Andrew and Mr. Green come at you with all they got. And they won’t be alone. Joining us via phone will be actor Colin Ferguson, better known as Sheriff Jack Carter of Eureka fame. Eureka has just recently returned for it’s fifth and final season and Colin will be on to talk about the season premiere that just aired, as well as what to expect from the remaining episodes. Here’s a quick bio on Colin:
Actor/director/producer Colin Ferguson stars as Federal Marshal Jack Carter in the highly acclaimed SyFy-hit dramedy “Eureka,” which has been called a cross between “Northern Exposure” and “Desperate Housewives.” The show debuted as the highest rated premiere in the channel’s history.
Born in and raised in Montreal, Colin spent his childhood in Hong Kong, England, Connecticut and Toronto. He got into comedy to make money to put himself through McGill University performing in stage comedy that won top awards at the Just For Laughs festival four years in a row. This led to a stint as a founding member of Detroit’s Second City franchise which he ultimately left to go back to University and finish his degree.
Colin is a producer on Eureka and has directed the “fan favorite” episodes “Your Face or Mine” and “The Story of O2”. He has repeatedly been tapped by SyFy to bring a more human and character- based element to their intense visual-effects style. It is the marriage of Second City’s character-based approach to scene work and television’s economic plot movement that defines his style and approach.
For more info on Colin, check out his official website.
But that’s not all! Geek Hard goes to the movies once again as they give their opinions on Lockout, the new space prison drama that’s currently in theatres. Will this Guy Pearce vehicle be a break out hit to remember, or will it be one we want to escape before the opening credits are done? Listen to the show to find out.
And we’ve still got more! Tune in to hear about all the hoopla that went down at the Wizard World Toronto Comic Con this past weekend. There were interviews, there were good times, people got shot….okay, so people didn’t get shot, but it was still exciting. Check out our show to hear some audio clips from the Con. Interesting people saying interesting stuff. What more could you ask for.
All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE, this Friday at 7pm Eastern on the station where rock and roll will never die, www.realityradio101.com. Don’tcha dare miss it!
