This week, we go to the movies……A Lot!
Don’t miss this Friday’s show as Andrew and Mr. Green deliver the hard hitting reviews on films for all age groups. First up, it’s the new animated adventure from Disney, Wreck-It Ralph. It hits Theatres this weekend and the boys are ready with their two cents. This film delves deep into the world of video games with retro references and cameos galore! With a voice cast which includes the likes of John C. Reily and Sarah Silverman, will this family animation deliver with the laughs? Or will it be “game over, man….GAME OVER” for this ode to the arcade classics? And will it be fun for the WHOLE family or just us nostalgic gamers out there? All will be revealed this Friday as we slap our quarter down for the next game and pull no punches with our review.
To get you psyched for this flick, check out the vid below:
But that’s not the only film we’re talking about this Friday. If you’ve visited the site over the last few weeks, you know that the boys have had their hands full with genre goodness as they attended the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, which took over the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema for 9 nights of thrills and chills. This year’s fest came to an end last Friday but the fun doesn’t have to stop there. Listen to this week’s show for Geek Hard’s Official After Dark Wrap Up as the guys give their thoughts on a selection of the films that screened, including: A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Grabbers, Game of Werewolves, Sushi Girl, In Their Skin, Cockneys vs. Zombies, and more! Andrew and Mr. Green will be naming their favourites and telling you which horror, sci fi and crime noir films you should be keeping an eye out for. A whole lot can happen after dark, including cinematic magic. Find out more this Friday.
All this, plus the news and reviews you’ve come to expect, and maybe a few surprises, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7pm Eastern on www.realityradio101.com. We might wreck it. We might fix it. Tune in this Friday to find out which.
And if you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
