This week, the show will go by in a Flash!
Don’t miss the Show this Friday as it will be Mr. Green last…….until the end of the month. Green has decided to take a majority of August to work on his new book, Green and the art of bird calls. This has been a passion project of his and we here at Geek Hard support his need to finish this book. But we get at least one more show with the Green one for the time being (joy).
This week’s show is shaping up nicely as Andrew and Mr. Green will be joined by actor Kate Drummond for a little phone interview action. Kate will be featured as Grim in the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell game, BLACKLIST. Kate will be on to tell us all about her experience working on the game as well as what Splinter Cell fans can expect from Blacklist when it’s released on August 20th. She’ll also be talking with us about some of the other projects she’s got on the go. Here’s a quick bio on Kate:
Actress Kate Drummond stars as lead female Anna Grímsdóttir, better known as Grim, in the highly anticipated Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, available Tuesday, August 20, 2013 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo WiiU and PC.
In addition, look out for Kate in the TV movie Clara’s Deadly Secret as Jane Jenkins, set to release in 2013. Kate plays the heart wrenching role of Clara’s mother who spends a lifetime dealing with the inexplicable death of her young daughter.
Kate can be recognized from her roles in TV series, such as Being Human and Sweet Tart’s Takeaway, a web series CBC chose to adapt into a one hour special last summer, and more. Upcoming, watch for Kate in USA Network and Showcase’s Covert Affairs as well as the European feature film, The Informant.
Kate is a former elementary school teacher from Ottawa, Ontario. It was a question from one of her students that prompted her to leave the classroom after 12 years, to pursue her dream of becoming an actor.
For more on Kate, check out her website. And for those looking for More on Blacklist, check out the video below.
But that’s not all! The guys take another trip into the DC Animated Universe to check out Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, out on DVD and Blu-ray today. This direct-to-video feature is based on the underwhelming 5 part comic miniseries that lead to DC’s New 52 line. Will it be a step up from its predecessor? Or will it make you wish for an end to the universe as we know it? Listen this Friday to see if it’s worth adding to your home video collection.
All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7pm Eastern on the station that’ll play just about anything, www.realityradio101.com. Don’t miss Green’s last show before his 3 weeks off.
If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
