You’re in for a special treat with this week’s episode of Geek Hard as we party at the Moon Tower.

This Friday’s show sports a new film review, an interview with a comic creator and a new co-host. Who will be joining Andrew for a Friday night of fun? It won’t be Mr. Green as he’s still writing his bird calls book, Mr. Green and the Sound of Birds. It won’t be Kris Johnson. He’s off on a special mission. So who could it possibly be?

(drumroll please)

None other than Mr. Killer Joe himself, Matthew McConaughey!* That’s right, Mr. McConaughey** will be in studio for the entire hour and will be geeking hard with the fine listeners at home. So what will Andrew and Matthew McConaughey*** be talking about?

Well, it wouldn’t be a episode of Geek hard without a movie review and we’re not ones to disappoint. This Friday, Andrew and Matthew take a look at JOBS, the Steve Jobs Biopic starring Ashton Kutcher. Will the film soar to new heights and be the next Social Network? Or will it just be 2 hours of Kelso walking funny? Find out this Friday as we give our uncensored review.

Also on the program, we take a look back to the launch of True Patriot, the indie comic anthology celebrating Canadian Superheroes released a few weeks back. Andrew got the chance to attend the launch at the Comic Book Lounge in Toronto and spoke with many comic creators while he was there. One such creator was J. Bone. Listen to Andrew’s interview with J. Bone on the anthology and his contribution, The Grey Owl. Find out why Canadian Superheroes are the coolest!

All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7pm Eastern on the station where we keep getting older but the music stays the same age, Alright, Alright, Alright!

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!

Talkin’ JOBS this Friday with McConaughey!

* This might not be THE Matthew McConaughey.

** – It sure sounds like him, though. I don’t know. I think it could be the real Matthew McConaughey

*** – I’m pretty sure it’s not really him but he is damn entertaining whoever he is.
