It’s another week where we bring you two great tastes that taste great together: Horror and Sci-Fi.
Join Andrew and Mr. Green this Friday as they talk about The Strain, the new horror television series from Guillermo del Toro on FX……and they won’t be doing it alone. Joining the duo via phone will be actor Drew Nelson who plays Matt Sayles, a reoccuring character on the series. We’ll get some insight on this new program, find out a bit about some of the other projects Drew’s been involved in and have a few laughs as always. Here’s a quick bio on Drew:
Over the last decade, Drew Nelson has been fortunate to have carved out a successful career in film and television, having appeared on such popular shows as Suits, Supernatural, Smallville, Flashpoint, Rookie Blue, Lost Girl, and Fringe. He’s best known in the animation world as the likeable bad boy “Duncan” in the Cartoon Network’s smash hit Total Drama Island. Currently, he’s in the midst of shooting a major recurring role in Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated FX series, The Strain.
He also just completed production on the feature film Man Vs. starring Chris Diamantopoulos. Set for release in 2014, Man Vs. follows a TV crew who is dropped off in the remote wilderness and forced to fight more than the elements.
For more on Drew, be sure to listen this Friday.
But that’s not all! Andrew and Mr. Green go to the movies once again and this time they’ll have to put their thinking caps on as they review Lucy, a new film from Luc Besson and starring Scarlett Johansson. In this film, Scarlett plays the title character, a woman who’s given the ability to access 100% of her brain. Will this film get 100% of our attention? Or will watching it make us wish for our brains to shut down? Find out this Friday as the boys dissect this piece of cinema.
All this, plus the news and review that you’ve come to expect. Right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday night at 7pm Eastern on the station that infects you like a virus and increases your brain activity, www.realityradio101.com.
