That’s right. I hate to the bearer of bad news but it’s true. This week’s episode of Geek Hard will NOT be LIVE tonight on Reality Radio 101, nor will it be a podcast available this Sunday evening. We will not be on this week. It’s a simple as that.
“Why?” you may ask. Well it has to do with a member of our team getting sick. Not Andrew. Not Mr. Green. Both of them are perfectly fine…..I guess. No, the man who’s feeling under the weather is the backbone of Geek Hard and it’s host station, Reality Radio 101: Yuri in the Booth! Yes, the raging Russian that mans the boards every week has come down with a bad case of the sniffles (and when I say sniffles, I mean bronchial flu). It’s nasty stuff! Yuri is in no condition to operate the control room for a full hour broadcast of live, internet radio. And sadly, without him, we cannot do the show to the level of quality you expect from us. (Let’s face it, he’s the guy that runs the place, so when he says he can’t do the show, we’re not able to do it either.)
So that’s the long and short of it. NO GEEK HARD THIS WEEK.
Wait, wait, wait. It’s okay, don’t worry. We’ll be back NEXT Friday!
Friday, January 29th, we’ll be back on Reality Radio 101 and we’ll have a podcast of the show available on the evening of January 31st. It’ll be a rip roaring show with some t.v. reviews and even a special guest from a new television series coming to Crave TV. It’ll be awesome. You just gotta wait another week.
We’ll also still have Meaghan Rath on at a later date. She’ll be back on our program to laugh and geek out with us like she has in the past.
It’s just one week. You’ll get through it. Hell, we’ll all get through it together. In the meantime, take a listen to past episodes, go watch videos on our Youtube channel, listen to the latest episode of our comics podcast Back Issue Bloodbath, and even read the latest new article from the returning Brent Chittenden.
See, lots to watch, and listen, and read until we’re live again next week. Nothing to fear.
Thought you’d feel better. See you next weeks, folks.
If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
