It’s another packed show on the Canada Day Edition of Geek Hard!

This week on Geek Hard, Andrew and Mr. Green will attack you’re senses, guns blazing! And they won’t be doing it alone as a multitude of guests will be gracing the show with their presence. First up, Andrew and Green will be airing a pre-taped interview with Aaron Ashmore and Luke MacFarlane, also known as the Jacobis Brothers of Killjoys. Just hours before the premiere episode of season 2, you’ll get to hear Aaron and Luke talk about what went on behind the scenes and what to expect this time around. Be sure to listen this Friday to get ready for the start of a brand new season of Killjoys!

But that’s not the only guests we’ll be bringing you. Joining the guys live via phone will be artist Steve Lieber to talk about his current Image Comics series, The Fix. Re-teaming with his Superior Foes of Spider-Man partner in crime, writer Nick Spencer, Steve’s giving us yet another comedic book but this time with crooked cops as the protagonists. Get ready to root for the bad guys as we chat with Steve about this hilarious new series. Here’s a quick bio on Steve:

creator02585._QL80_TTD_Steve Lieber is a comic book illustrator and storyboard artist in Portland, Oregon. He has been published by DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Image, Carus, Oni, Dupuis and many others. He is best known as the artist of the graphic novel Whiteout and it’s Eisner-winning sequel, Whiteout: Melt. Some of his other work includes Underground, Superior Foes of Spider-Man and currently, The Fix. Steve is also a founding member of Periscope Studio, the largest studio of freelance comics and storyboard artists in North America.

That’s right, we’re reviewing The BFG. Based on the book by Roald Dahl, Steven Spielberg brings us the story of a girl and giant and an unlikely friendship. Will they do the beloved children’s classic justice? Or will it be a BIG disappointment? Listen for our review at the end of the week.
