We talk with actor-writer-director-producer Jeremy Redleaf. Jeremy chats with us about 3rd Street Blackout, his latest film which is available On Digital HD and On Demand on July 5th. It’s a comedy that takes place days after Hurricane Sandy when large parts of New York went without power. The advertising for this film says it’s a “dark comedy….literally.”

Our review of The Secret Life of Pets starring Louis C.K.Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart . Synopsis: Max (Louis C.K.) is a spoiled terrier who enjoys a comfortable life in a New York building until his owner adopts Duke, a giant and unruly canine. During their walk outside, they encounter a group of ferocious alley cats and wind up in a truck that’s bound for the pound. Luckily, a rebellious bunny named Snowball swoops in to save the doggy duo from captivity. In exchange, Snowball demands that Max and Duke join his gang of abandoned pets on a mission against the humans who’ve done them wrong.

We also talk with via phone by one of the cast of Dark Matter, the lovely Melissa O’Neil. Melissa plays Two on the Syfy original series (which airs on Space in Canada, Fridays at 10pm). She tells us more about the new season. Before you catch Episode Two of Season Two of Dark Matter, be sure to listen to our interview with Two.
