This week, we’re flashing back to films from last week and long past.

Don’t miss this Friday’s show as Andrew and Mr. Green gear up for the Flashback Film Festival (brought to you by Cineplex). Coming to 24 cities across Canada this February, the festival celebrates some fan favourite films from the past by giving you a chance to see them up on the big screen once again. To help you get ready, the guys will be chatting with Richard Crouse, who curated this year’s lineup. Richard is a well known film critic and author who’s put together a mix of big action, smart drama and heartwarming films from the 80s and 90s for fans to enjoy, including the likes of Bladerunner (The Final Cut), Fight Club, Jurassic Park, The Princess Bride and more! Here’s a quick bio on Richard:

Richard Crouse is the regular film critic for Canada AM and CP24. He was the host of Reel to Real, Canada’s longest running television show about movies, from 1998 to 2008 and is a frequent guest on many national Canadian radio and television shows. His syndicated Saturday afternoon radio show, The Richard Crouse Show, originates on News Talk 1010 in Toronto. He is  the author of six books on pop culture history and writes a weekly column for Metro newspaper.

The Flashback Film Fest runs from February 3rd to 9th. For more information, check out the Cineplex Website and be sure listen to our interview this Friday.

Also this week, we do a little flashing back of our own as we take a look at xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, which hit theatres last week. This is the third installment in the the xXx series and the big question that comes to mind is, “Why the hell are they bringing out a sequel now? Doesn’t Vin already have two franchises he can work with?” We’ll try to find the answer this Friday as Andrew and Mr. Green give their review.

All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that flashes back to the past all the time,

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!

Is xXx: The Return of Xander Cage triple the fun? Find out this Friday.
