Our review of Ghost in the Shell starring Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbæk and Takeshi Kitano. Synopsis: In the near future, Major is the first of her kind: a human who is cyber-enhanced to be a perfect soldier devoted to stopping the world’s most dangerous criminals. When terrorism reaches a new level that includes the ability to hack into people’s minds and control them, Major is uniquely qualified to stop it. As she prepares to face a new enemy, Major discovers that her life was stolen instead of saved. Now, she will stop at nothing to recover her past while punishing those who did this to her.

We also talk with filmmaker Hunter Adams. Hunter’s film, Dig Two Graves, was released last Friday in theatres and on demand across the U.S. and he tells us all about it. Dig Two Graves follows 13-year-old Jacqueline Mather (Samantha Isler) who, after losing her brother in a mysterious drowning accident, is soon visited by 3 moonshiners who offer to bring her brother back to life but at a grim cost. As the dark history of her grandfather, Sheriff Waterhouse (Ted Levine) is unearthed the true intentions of the moonshiners come to light. For more info on Dig Two Graves, check out the official film website.
