We talk with comic artist Adam Gorham. His first issue of the new Rocket series hit comic shops last week and is getting high praise. One compliment that everyone is giving it is that Gorham can draw a mean looking raccoon. He joined us to tell us all about what’s up next for the furriest Guardian of the Galaxy.

Our review of Alien: Covenant starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston and Danny McBride. Synopsis: Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.

Our second guest is also no stranger to Geek Hard as she was a frequent guest in the early days of the show: Liana Kerzner. Liana is in the midst of a successful Kickstarter campaign for Lady Bits, a new series about women in video games. The project has already been funded but she’s working towards stretch goals to make the show even greater. Here’s the Kickstarter pitch – With your funding, we’ll look at the female characters in video games, the women who make video games, and the women who play video games. This is a discussion, not a lecture! Lady Bits will ask the questions and provide the information. Then you’ll determine your own answers. No stress, no judgments, no accusations.  A series about a fun hobby should reflect that fun, and a series that looks at games should be hosted, written, and produced by a gamer. To find out more on Lady Bits, check out the Kickstarter Page.

It was a great show!
