This week, we wrestle with androids and mechs in outer space!

Don’t miss this Friday’s Geek Hard as Andrew and Mr. Green will be firing on all cylinders with news, reviews and guests galore! That’s right, it’s another show with double the guests! First up, we’ll be joined by Zoie Palmer of Dark Matter. She’ll be on to tell us all about what to expect from the rest of season 3. Here’s quick bio on Zoie:

Zoie Palmer is an English-Canadian actress, born in Camborne, Cornwall, England, to parents of Irish and British descent. She had a recurring role in the popular CTV music drama Instant Star as rock singer Patsy Sewer; was a co-lead in the Global drama The Guard as Carly Greig; and starred as Dr. Lauren Lewis in the groundbreaking Showcase supernatural drama Lost Girl. Zoie plays the main role of The Android in the science fiction series Dark Matter.

For more on Dark Matter Season 3, be sure to listen to our interview with Zoie this Friday.

Our second guest is a long time comic writer with a number of great series under his belt: Brian Wood! Brian has written such comics as Star Wars, DMZ, Conan the Barbarian, Rebels and Briggs Land. He’ll be on to promote his upcoming run on Robotech for Titan Comics. The first issue drops at the end of July. If you want to get a little behind the scenes info on the making of this new series, be sure to listen to this Friday’s interview with Brian.

But that’s not all. Andrew and Mr. Green will also be bringing you a review of the new Netflix series, GLOW! Hitting the streaming service on June 23rd, the show is a fictionalized story on the creation of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling program from the late eighties/early nineties. Taking a more comedic approach with the material, the show stars Allison Brie and Marc Maron. Is it worth checking out? Find out this Friday as Andrew and Mr. Green take this show to the mat.

All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that always puts mind over matter,

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
