We talk with the front man for nerd rock band Kirby Krackle, Kyle Stevens. Kyle’s been a guest on our show a couple of times and he returns to promote his upcoming Toronto Appearance for Nerd Noise Night 2017 – Night One!, the annual geek music event happening on the Friday night of Fan Expo Canada weekend at the Horseshoe Tavern. Kyle’s always quick with a story and joins us to talk about his latest adventures in nerd rock.

Our review of The Defenders starring Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter and Finn Jones. Synopsis: Four of Marvel’s biggest heroes are each working individually but have one common goal in mind — to save New York City. Burdened with their own personal challenges, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand (Iron Fist) realize that they likely won’t be able to accomplish their goals working solo. That realization leads them to team up and form The Defenders, a supergroup that is more equipped to save the Big Apple than the heroes would be if they continued to work on their own.

We talk with Nerd Noise Night show organizer Shaun Hatton. Boasting another great lineup of musicians, Nerd Noise Night continues to grow in popularity. Fan favourites The Cybertronic Spree will be headlining the second Nerd Noise Night event (happening on the Saturday of Fan Expo at The Rec Room) featuring Wordburglar, More or Les and Coins. Shaun tells us all about both nights and what the Spree has been up to in the meantime. For more info on both Nerd Noise Night events, check out their facebook page.
