Welcome everyone to another episode of Don’t Make Me Watch That! – A podcast that celebrates movies and tears them down all in one sitting. Hosted by Andrew Young and Leslie Hudson, each episode presents the critique of a film from the long or recent past that one of us hates and the other one loves. Andrew and Leslie will do what they do best: fight and debate and make fun of one another. It’s all in good fun and for the love of FILM!
In the second installment of “Colin Farrell Month”, Leslie is forced to relive a film that she’s branded as boring, awful and depressing. Sounds like a fun time to Andrew. The film in question is 2008’s In Bruges. Written and Directed by Martin McDonagh and starring Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes, In Bruges is the story is the story of Ray, a rookie hitman who botches his first job. After this, Ray and his partner are sent by his ruthless boss to Bruges…the last place in the world Ray wants to be. Andrew thinks the film is hilarious. Leslie wonders if they watched the same film.
Listen as our two combatants argue the merits of In Bruges and cut each other up in the process. Enjoy.
