Welcome everyone to another episode of Don’t Make Me Watch That! – A podcast that celebrates movies and tears them down all in one sitting. Hosted by Andrew Young and Leslie Hudson, each episode presents the critique of a film from the long or recent past that one of us hates and the other one loves. Andrew and Leslie will do what they do best: fight and debate and make fun of one another. It’s all in good fun and for the love of FILM!
We always wonder if this will be the episode where one of your humble hosts crack. This may be the one where Leslie reaches her breaking point. This is the power of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Written and directed by Wes Anderson and starring Bill Murray, The Life Aquatic is the story of oceanographer Steve Zissou, who rallies a crew that includes his estranged wife, a journalist, and a man who may or may not be his son, to exact revenge on a mythical shark that killed his partner. The film angered Leslie to no end. This amused Andrew greatly, to say the least.
Listen as our two combatants argue the merits of The Life Aquatic and cut each other up in the process. Enjoy.
