Welcome everyone to another episode of Don’t Make Me Watch That! – A podcast that celebrates movies and tears them down all in one sitting. Hosted by Andrew Young and Leslie Hudson, each episode presents the critique of a film from the long or recent past that one of us hates and the other one loves. Andrew and Leslie will do what they do best: fight and debate and make fun of one another. It’s all in good fun and for the love of FILM!
On this Episode, Andrew has to sit through a film that nobody should have to endure: THE WATCH. Directed by Akiva Shaffer and starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade, The Watch is the story of a neighbourhood watch that find themselves defending the Earth from an alien invasion. Written by Seth Rogen, the film is played for juvenile laughs. At times, it’s a bit too juvenile for Andrew’s taste. Okay, it’s too juvenile the entire time. Andrew’s rage boiled having to watch this one. Leslie enjoys this rage as always. As an added bonus, the two preview a few films they will be discussing in the future!
Listen as our two combatants argue the merits of The Watch and cut each other up in the process. Enjoy.
