Originally Aired: 12/08/17 – Review Marvel’s Runaways. Play our interviews from Geek Hard LIVE! with Kevin Hanchard and Marissa Roberto
Our review of Runaways starring Rhenzy Feliz, Virginia Gardner and Ariela Barer currently airing on Hulu and Showcase. Synopsis: There are times when pretty much every teenager thinks his or her parents are evil — but what if it was actually true? That’s the situation six Los Angeles teenagers find themselves in when they stumble upon a terrible secret and realize that their parents have been lying to them for their entire lives. The offspring begin an investigation to try to figure out what their guardians are after, while the adults wonder if their kids are hiding secrets of their own. The unlikely crew of teens bands together — led by de facto leader and primary strategist Alex Wilder — to stop their parents before it is too late. The Marvel series is from executive producer Josh Schwartz, whose resume of young-adult fare includes “The O.C.” and “Gossip Girl.”
We also have for anyone that wasn’t able to make it out to Geek Hard Live at Comedy Bar in Toronto back on November 25th, a special treat. We’ll be playing the interviews from that event. You’ll get to hear us talk about Orphan Black, Tin Star, People of Earth and more with actor Kevin Hanchard. You’ll also learn more about the world of video games from Marissa Roberto. Marissa also coaxes Andrew into telling a story about his time working with Ed the Sock. There may even be a musical performance as well.
It was a great show!
