We talk with director filmmaker Neville Pierce joined us via phone to talk about three short films he directed: BricksGhosted and Lock In. Pierce was a film reviewer and interviewer for years. These 3 shorts are his first forays into directing and have been met with high praise. All three films are currently available on vimeo.

Our review of Annihilation starring Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tessa Thompson. Synopsis: Annihilation is written and directed by Alex Garland, based on the novel of the same name by Jeff VanderMeer. The film stars Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny, and Oscar Isaac, and follows a group of military scientists who enter “The Shimmer,” a mysterious quarantined zone that is full of mutating landscapes and creatures.

We also speak with actor and producer Rebecca Eady. She joined us to talk about Evolve: Year Zero, a post-apocalyptic web Series that follows a team of evolved United Nations soldiers who failed to save humanity and now must confront their past while battling their future. The series debuts online March 1st. Rebecca Eady is an actress and producer, known for Pompeii (2014), Legends of Tomorrow (2016) and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate (2015). She portrayed Queen Anne of Austria in the second season DC’s Legends of Tomorrow episode, “Out of Time”. Rebecca is also the Creator/Show Runner & Writer of Evolve: Year Zero.  This first instalment of Evolve marks the launch of her joint production company ReadyMade Studios.
