The Global Frequency is a worldwide rescue organization created to deal with any crisis that too big, too strange or too dangerous to handle by more conventional means. The group is comprised of 1001 agents, some trained field agents, some educated civilians, headed up by the mysterious Miranda Zero. Every member is an expert at something, weather it be languages, technology, combat or theoretical physics. They’re the best at what they do and are humanity’s last, best chance at survival.
Written by Warren Ellis, Global Frequency is a miniseries published from 2002 to 2004 under DC Comics’ Vertigo line. Each issue was stand alone and featured a the work of different comic artist. The book featured art from Simon Bisley, Karl Story, Glenn Fabry, Steve Dillon, Gene Ha, Lee Bermejo and more! The book was 12 issues long and scratched the itch of any fan looking for a mix of spy stories, action, adventure, sci-fi and even horror.
