Originally Aired: 05/25/18 – We review Solo: A Star Wars Story. We speak with comedian Kyle Bottom about his new album Dungeon Master.

We talk news of the week. Comcast drops the news that they are going to try again to bid for FOX to disrupt the Disney purchase. Bond 25 announces that Danny Boyle will take over directing duties for the film. A brief explanation of all the updated Terms of Service emails everyone got these past few weeks with GDPR.

Our review of Solo: A Star Wars Story starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke. Synopsis: Young Han Solo finds adventure when he joins a gang of galactic smugglers, including a 196-year-old Wookie named Chewbacca. Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos, the crew devises a daring plan to travel to the mining planet Kessel to steal a batch of valuable coaxium. In need of a fast ship, Solo meets Lando Calrissian, the suave owner of the perfect vessel for the dangerous mission — the Millennium Falcon.

We also speak with comedian Kyle Bottom. Kyle was scheduled to be on the show a few weeks back but due to a power outage at our studio, the interview didn’t happen. Thankfully that’s all been corrected and you’ll hear from Kyle about his new album, Dungeon Master. Forged in the fires of Mount Doom, Kyle Bottom is the one comic to rule them all. The self-proclaimed nerd king has honed his bizarre sense of humour over the last decade. His unique style has earned him appearances at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and he’s a regular on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”.

It was a great show!
