Back in March, Geek Hard had the opportunity to attend the 2018 Toronto ComiCon. While at the show, Andrew and Mr. Green got the chance to chat with a number of talented people from celebrities to comic creators to cosplayers. One of the talent folks Mr. Green got to chat with has been a long time friend of Geek Hard: artist Michael Walsh!
Mr. Green has made it his mission to interview Michael at every Toronto convention they’re both at. This time was no exception. As always, their discussion focused on one particular franchise: Star Wars. In the past, this discussion was between two fans of the galaxy far, far away. Now, things have changed. Michael is the artist on the long form comic adaptation of Star Wars: The Last Jedi from Marvel Comics. The first two issues have been released and there are four more on the way. Michael takes us through some of his process and explains what it’s been like to work on such a hallowed property.
Watch on to see Mr. Green do his usual gushing over Michael’s work as well as two Star Wars fans boys get in depth on The Last Jedi. What else would you expect? Check out the video RIGHT NOW to find out more about Michael Walsh’s amazing work.
Pick up the first couple of issues of Star Wars: The Last Jedi at your local comic shop. And follow Michael on Instagram to get a taste of his work.
That’s everything from our Toronto ComiCon coverage from this year. But stay tuned for more great video content in the upcoming weeks, including Geek Hard Shorts and Videos from the Vault.
