Originally Aired: 09/14/18 – Our review of The Predator. We speak with Return of Wolverine’s Charles Soule and Howl & Roar’s Allison Dore.
We play Andrew’s sit down interview with comic writer and author Charles Soule recorded during Fan Expo Canada. Charles chats about his current run on Daredevil, his first novel (The Oracle Year), and the upcoming Return of Wolverine series. Soule has lots to talk about and it’s all good times! Charles Soule is a New York Times-bestselling, Brooklyn-based comic book writer, musician, and attorney. He is best known for writing Daredevil, She-Hulk, Death of Wolverine and various Star Wars comics from Marvel Comics, as well as his creator-owned series Curse Words from Image Comics and the award-winning political sci-fi epic Letter 44 from Oni Press.
Our review of The Predator starring Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn and Jacob Tremblay. From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. The universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biologist can prevent the end of the human race.
We also speak with SiriusXM Canada Radio Host and Media Personality Allison Dore. Allison will be on to talk about the launch of Howl & Roar Records, a female-centric comedy record label aimed at empowering artists and facilitating the creation of content for women and underrepresented performers in comedy. The label is launching September 19th with a show at the Bad Dog Theatre in Toronto headlined by Kate Davis. As a former comedian, Allison has seen the many challenges that female comics have faced in the industry and has created a space where they can produce their content. Comedian, actor, entertainer, media personality, interviewer, motivational speaker. Allison Dore has been called many things (some that should never be said out loud). Allison is a “professional talker” who approaches life with authenticity, curiosity, and a pathological honesty that highlights all of her wonderfully fabulous issues.
It was a great show!
