This week, we’re guided by voices to see a man on the moon!

Don’t miss this Friday’s episode of Geek Hard for some crazy awesome times! Mr. Green will not be joining us this week as he’s gone on a globe-trotting crusade to find the best in barbecue for his soon to be open restaurant, Mr. Green’s Tasty Meats! Joining Andrew this week is guest host Kris Johnson. Kris is “The 3rd Man” of Geek Hard as he’s hosted with Andrew on many occasions. He also co-writes the New Comics Blog that’s posted every Tuesday on this very site. Andrew and Kris have some fun segments and great guests coming your way!

Joining the guys via phone is performer and voice actor Alyson Court. Alyson is probably best known for her time on The Big Comfy Couch as Loonette, but she’s also been the voice of some of your favourite cartoon characters. You’ve heard her as Lydia on Beetlejuice, Jubilee on X-Men, and Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil Games. She’ll be on to talk about her body of work and upcoming convention appearances. Here’s a quick bio on Alyson:

Alyson Court is a Canadian actress who first appeared in the 1985’s Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird, and played Dawn in the animated film The Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation the following year. She also played Loonette the Clown, the lead character of The Big Comfy Couch, from 1992 to 2003. Alyson has also been the only actress to voice Claire Redfield, in the Resident Evil series, having voiced her in Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil Code: Veronica, the CG animation movie Resident Evil: Degeneration, and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

For more on Alyson Court, be sure to listen to our interview this Friday.

Also joining by phone is another actor who’s made a name for himself in the world of video game voice acting, Michael Antonakos. Michael voices Alexios in Ubisoft’s latest release in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Micheal will be on to talk about his voice and motion capture experience for the game. Here’s a quick bio on Micheal;

Michael Antonakos has been performing since he was nine years old, and spent his youth with the Rocky Mountain Shakespeare Company.  After leaving the University of Victoria he moved to Vancouver B.C, where he began focusing on film and television, but his career path shifted when he landed his first video game audition with Lord Of the Rings: The Third Age. Because of his physical abilities to transform into other people/creatures and create new unrecognizable voices he became well known performance capture actor in the video game world. He is currently staring as Alexios in Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed Odyssey.

For more on Michael Antonakos, don’t miss our interview with him this Friday.

We also take another trip to the cinema for this week’s movie review of First Man. Will this film about Neil Armstrong getting to the moon stick the landing? Or will it burn up upon reentry? Find out this Friday as Andrew and Kris give their honest opinions.

All this, plus the jokes and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that always hears voices,

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!

Will you want to go take a giant leap after seeing First Man? Find out this Friday.
