This week, we talk of nerdy things, take a trip into the forest, and watch some fantastic beasts!

Don’t miss this Friday’s episode of Geek Hard as Andrew and Mr. Green bring you another episode with so much geeky goodness. Joining the guys via phone is writer, actress and comedian Dani Fernandez! Dani is probably best known for hosting gigs for Nerdist and Project Alpha on Fangirling and Natural Selection. She also hosts a podcast called Nerdificent. Dani will be on to talk about all this and more! Here’s a quick bio on Dani:

Dani Fernandez is a writer, actress, and comedian who has written for shows on New Form, Fullscreen, and Epic Meal Time, as well as various humor sites. She has been a host with Geek & Sundry, HyperRPG, Funimation, Mental Floss, and Machinima and has been a commentator for IGN, VH1, Collider, Screen Junkies, San Diego Comic Con, LA Comic Con, and WonderCon.

Also joining us by phone is director Nick Szostakiwskyj. His new film, Hammer of the Gods will be playing at this year’s Blood In The Snow Canandian Film Festival on Saturday, November 24th at 4:30PM. Nick will be on to tell us more about the film. Here’s a quick synopsis:

Hammer of the Gods follows falling-from-grace rock group, half a decade after the release of their hit single, as they travel deep into the Canadian wilderness on a spirit journey armed with a bag of psychedelic drugs. The journey seems harmless enough, until the isolated musicians begin to realize the terrifying hallucinations they are seeing and hearing aren’t hallucinations at all.

For more on Hammer of the Gods, check out the BITS Film Fest Website and catch our interview with Nick this Friday.

To top things off, we’ve got another movie review coming your way! Andrew and Green give their thoughts on Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grinderwald. Will this be a compelling addition to the back story of the Potterverse? Or will it feel like yet another cash grab? Find out this Friday.

All this, plus the jokes and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that fangirls over horror from time to time,

If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!

Will it be a crime to see this movie? Find out this Friday.
