Yuri has returned to the States for his annual Thanksgiving feast and bear wrestling convention, so we will not be in studio at Reality Radio 101. Instead, we’re bringing you an exclusive episode recorded this past Saturday at the Whitby Comic Arts Festival (WhitCAF).

This episode features some pretty cool interviews recorded earlier this Fall at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. First up is Mr. Green’s sit down interview with the one and only Mick Garris. A true master of horror, they talk about his latest film, Nightmare Cinema ,a horror anthology he made with a host of amazing international directors. There’s also talk of his podcast, Post Mortem. Here’s a quick bio on Mick:


Mick Garris was born in Santa Monica, California. He is known for his adaptations of Stephen King stories. Garris won a 1986 Edgar Award for an episode he wrote for the Steven Spielberg-produced television series Amazing Stories. Mick directed the FEARnet episode Post Mortem. He contributes to the web series Trailers From Hell. Garris was also the co-screenwriter and executive producer of the Disney movie Hocus Pocus. He also directed the miniseries adaption of Stephen King’s novel Bag of Bones and the documentary film Pure in Heart: The Life and Legacy of Lon Chaney Jr. Garris will also appear in cameo roles in his films.

In our second interview, Andrew chats with filmmaker Corey Stanton about his first feature film, Robbery. The movie stars Art Hindle and focuses on robbery where the getaway driver is suffering from dementia. Here’s a quick bio on Corey:


Corey Stanton hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from York University, and in May 2017, he graduated from medical school at the University of Ottawa, earning his Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.). In support of his lifelong dream of filmmaking, Corey has chosen to pursue his passions for directing, writing, and producing.
