Show Notes:

We take a look at the news of the week. Science now has proof that unicorns were real! Star Wars Galaxy Adventures launched and have new action figures coming out. CW working on a new DC property called Super Clean. NIST has upped the anty on Atomic Clock accuracy that can detect space-time fluctuations.

Our review of The Christmas Chronicles starring Kurt Russell, Darby Camp and Judah Lewis. A holiday adventure from producer Chris Columbus (“Home Alone”, “Harry Potter”) and director Clay Kaytis (“The Angry Birds Movie”), tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa’s arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas. As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa – as you’ve never seen him before – and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it’s too late.

We also speak with director Jennifer Nicole Stang to talk about her latest short, The Whistler. A spooky take on the Pied Piper, The Whistler is a story about a teenage girl who is forced to babysit her sister and wakes up to find that same sister missing. The short was recently shown at the Blood In The Snow Film Festival and Andrew gave it a rave review in his coverage. JENNIFER NICOLE STANG was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has lived in England, Canada, the U.S., and Spain. Jennifer founded her film production company, Round Table Pictures (Formerly Heart Anchor Productions), with her brother, Emmett, in 2011. With her company, Jennifer has directed award-winning music videos and short films, and has produced videos for clients such as Sotheby’s International, USC, and Jamie Nichols for Celebrate Dance. Her short film, El Lago (The Lake) has received various awards. Jennifer is currently co-producing a feature film with Dark Matter Studios. For more info on The Whistler, check out the film’s website.
