We talk with actor Fei Ren. Fei is one of the many talented folks featured in Polar, starring Mads Mikkelsen. The film was recently released on Netflix. Fei will be on to talk about her role in the film and more! Born and raised in Zhengzhou, China, Fei Ren she trained in traditional Chinese dance and ballet. She came to Vancouver, Canada to complete her Psychology degree at the University of British Columbia. While working on her studies, Fei successfully continued her international modeling career. After graduating from UBC in 2013, she began acting. Fei has quickly become “one to watch” in the entertainment industry, bringing to life complex, dynamic, and powerful characters in film and television. This year, Fei can be seen starring in Netflix’s crime-action feature film Polar opposite Katheryn Winnick, Vanessa Hudgens, and Mads Mikkelsen. For more on Polar, check out the film on Netflix.

Our review of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part starring Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and Will Arnett. The citizens of Bricksburg face a dangerous new threat when LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space start to wreck everything in their path. The battle to defeat the enemy and restore harmony to the LEGO universe takes Emmet, Lucy, Batman and the rest of their friends to far away, unexplored worlds that test their courage and creativity.

We also talk with comic writer Jim Zub talks about his current work at Marvel on Champions. The second issue of the relaunched series came out this past Wednesday. He talked about that series as well as a number of other titles he’s written. Jim Zub is a writer, artist and art instructor based in Toronto, Canada. Over the past seventeen years, he’s worked for a diverse array of publishing, movie and video game clients including Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, Capcom, Hasbro, Cartoon Network, and Bandai-Namco. He juggles his time between being a freelance comic writer and Program Coordinator for Seneca College‘s award-winning Animation program.
