On March 15th to 17th of 2019, Andrew Young and Mr. Green (along with Back Issue Bloodbath‘s Sammy Younan) took a trip to the Toronto Comicon 2019. They took in the sights, attended a few panels and spoke with some comic creators. Here’s a quick glimpse of what went down:

Throughout the month of April, we will be releasing our comic creator interviews on upcoming episodes of Back Issue Bloodbath. So who did we chat with at the show?

Sammy got to talk with veteran comic artist Leonard Kirk about his work on Star Wars, Captain Britain and The Fantastic Four. That interview will drop on April 10th.

Andrew sat down with another great artist, Phil Noto, on the Sunday of the show while he finished up a Daredevil sketch. They spoke about Daredevil, Star Wars, Phil’s Marvel 80th Anniversary covers and more. That interview will be featured on the April 17th episode of Back Issue Bloodbath.

And finally, Andrew spoke with legendary comic writer Steve Englehart to wrap up the convention. There’s talk of The Beast, Doctor Strange and Shang Chi. This interview will be out on April 24th, just in time for Avengers: Endgame. Steve had a big hand in giving the Avengers a bit of personality back in the day. We talk about that and more!

Overall, it was a fun time at the show. Be sure to stay tuned to Back Issue Bloodbath to hear all of our comic creator interviews. Thanks to everyone we got to chat with and a big thank you to everyone who made Toronto Comicon 2019 a great success!
