This week, we enjoy the feeling of free as a chill runs down our spines!
Don’t miss this Friday’s episode of Geek Hard as Andrew and Mr. Green bring you another episode of fun and merriment! Joining the guys by phone is actor Emily Haine. Emily can currently be seen as Elspeth in part 2 of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She’ll be on to talk about the show and more! Here’s a quick bio on Emily:
Emily Haine is a born artist with an abundance of emotion begging to be let loose on screen. From a young age she became obsessed with the talent she would see on screen and often sought out the magic in film and the raw vulnerability of expression. She appeared in The CW’s “The 100” and “Supernatural” before booking the role of oddball Noreen Vanderslice in the critically acclaimed FX miniseries “Fargo”. Emily has appeared on the big screen in the Marvel hit DEADPOOL, the Jason Reitman comedy TULLY and Canadian indie GREGOIRE. On the small screen she has worked on The CW’s “Supergirl”, SYFY’s “Van Helsing”and in CBC/SundanceTV’s “Unspeakable”.
For more on Emily Haine, be sure to catch our interview with her this Friday!
But that’s not all. It’s that time of year again! Free Comic Book Day, an annual event at your local comic shop, is happening this Saturday, May 4th. (May the 4th be with you!) 51 free comic titles are available at comic stores across the world on the first Saturday in May every year! It’s tradition for Geek Hard to give you a special preview for FCBD. We’ve read the free comics and will tell you which ones are the must reads you should pick up! And it won’t just be Andrew and Mr. Green’s suggestions. The guys will be joined in studio by Petula Neale (of the In A TIFF Podcast) and Kris Johnson (this guy again?). Listen this Friday to hear our honest opinions of this year’s free comic offerings.
All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard. Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station that likes to get something for nothing, realityradio101.com.
If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
