This week, we listen to some music we can relate to, work hard for the money, and take a crazy ride in an uber.
Don’t miss this Friday’s episode of Geek Hard Andrew and Mr. Green bring you another episode of action and adventure! The guys will be joined by Dani Kind via phone to talk about her roles on Workin’ Moms, Wynonna Earp, and MORE! Here’s a quick bio on Dani:
Toronto based actress Dani Kind stars in the series regular role of ‘Anne’ in CBC’s half-hour comedy series Workin’ Moms starring writer/producer Catherine Reitman. Kind can also be seen guest starring as ‘Mercedes Gardner’ on SyFy’s hit series Wynonna Earp, as well as starring in the upcoming horror The Banana Splits Movie (coming to digital, Blu-ray and DVD this August).

The PDX Broadsides, a Portland OR pop-folk trio, have been playing music together since 2011, and have become known for their harmonies and clever writing. The Broadsides love things, and as a result many of their songs are about the things they love. Turns out those things are basically nerdy. The PDX Broadsides have played around the country in venues large and small. They’ve performed at conventions including Dragon Con, OryCon (as musical guest of honor), Rose City Comic Con, and GameStorm, or you may have seen them play in shows with The Doubleclicks, Marian Call, or Molly Lewis. They have received two nominations for the Pegasus Awards for Excellence in Filk.
We’ve also got a big review coming your way this week as we take a trip to the cinema to see Stuber! Ah, that classic team-up of a cop and an uber driver. A story as old as time. Will this buddy comedy starring Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani be the funniest film of the summer? Or will it be in need of roadside assistance? Find out this Friday as Andrew and Green give their honest opinions.
All this, plus the news and reviews that you’ve come to expect, right here on Geek Hard! Listen LIVE! This Friday at 7PM Eastern on the station where the staff sometimes moonlight as uber drivers, realityradio101.com.
If you’re gonna geek out, GEEK HARD!
