Originally Aired: 08/02/19 – We review Hobbs & Shaw. We talk with actor Jess Kove about his film D-Day.

Show Notes:

We were scheduled to speak with actor Adam Lindo who is in Orange is The New Black Season 7. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, he wasn’t able to call in the studio Friday night.

Our review of Hobbs & Shaw starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Idris Elba. Ever since hulking lawman Hobbs (Johnson), a loyal agent of America’s Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw (Statham), a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015’s Furious 7, the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they’ve tried to take each other down. But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever — and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw’s sister — these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.

We also talk with actor Jesse Kove to promote his upcoming film D-Day. This year marks the 75th anniversary of D-Day, the day when Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, to fight the Nazis in World War II. Jesse will be on to talk about what it was like working with co-stars Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture and more! Born in Los Angeles California, Jesse Kove was raised in a Film, Television and Theatrical family. Jesse follows in his father’s (Martin Kove) footsteps proudly. In 2016, Jesse co-starred alongside Joseph Fiennes in the highly anticipated World War II drama “On Wings of Eagles” (The unofficial sequel to “Chariots of Fire” ). Jesse also co-produced and co-starred in the acclaimed teen crime drama “As Night Comes”. On television, he starred in Alloy Entertainment’s episodic show “First Day”, and went on to star in the SyFy channels “Axe Giant”, and co-starred in the first-ever live-streamed episodic “Steve The Intern”.

It was a great show!
