Originally Aired: 12/27/19 – We replay some highlights of the show with guests, stories, arguments and a really odd rant all from 2019.
It’s been a big year for Geek Hard. There were some really great guests and moments on the show as we look back on the year that was 2019.
We also share excerpts from the many interviews we did this year with some of the great actors and creators that graced our little program, including Anna Hopkins, Royce Johnson, Christine Lee, Kevin Hanchard, Dani Kind, Todd McFarlane, Emily Piggford, Tamara Almeida, Kristian Bruun and Tim Rozon. We had a lot of fun chatting with these actors/creators and you’ll remember why as we revisit the “Ghosts of Former Guests Past”.
Throughout the year we had an increase in audience emails during the show which we love getting… keep ’em coming in 2020! We had a great year for geek films to review with Us, Avengers: End Game, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Ready or Not, Knives Out and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to name a few. On the show, however, we share our love of ’80s Pop sensation Tiffany instead of talking about the film Replicas. Another staple of the decade the voice that won’t quit the ’80s Trailer Voice Guy, plus listener love of guest host Petulla Neale.
We also remember how Mr. Green ranted about being excited when he was questioned by Andrew during an episode. Then Mr. Green and the Old Man mix it up when they reviewed Toy Story 4 (well Mr. Green did, the Old Man saw Child’s Play instead) sorta. The Old Man also shares his memories of the first Christmas at least according to him.
It was a great show!
