We talk with actor Cara Gee! Cara is best known for her work on The Expanse and was seen earlier this year in The Call of The Wild. She talks about Red Rover, a comedy she co-stars in with Kristian Bruun. Hear her talk about it and more on this week’s show. Cara Gee made her feature film debut in Empire of Dirt for which she was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. The film also won a Special Jury award at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and Cara won Best Actress at the American Indian Film Festival. Gee has also worked in television, playing guest roles in the television series King and Republic of Doyle. In 2014, she starred as the lead character in the Western drama series Strange Empire on CBC Television. Gee stars in the 33-episode web series Inhuman Condition, which airs on the KindaTV YouTube channel. In 2017 she began to star in the recurring role of Camina Drummer on the Amazon television series The Expanse.

Our review of Becky starring Joel McHale, Kevin James and Lulu Wilson. Spunky and rebellious Becky tries to reconnect with her father during a weekend getaway at a lakefront house. But the trip soon takes a turn for the worse when convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick, suddenly invade the home.

We also talk with actor Sera-Lys McArthur. Sera-Lys has a prominent role in the 3rd season of Burden of Truth, currently airing on The CW. She talks about that role and more! Sera-Lys McArthur is a screen and stage actor, producer and model with deep Native American roots. Sera-Lys is a proud member of the Nakota/Assiniboine Nation and was raised by her German-Canadian single mother in southern Saskatchewan. She was most recently seen in season 4 of the Starz’ hit series Outlander. She currently stars on Burden of Truth as Kodie Chartranda. ‘Kodie’ is the childhood best friend of the lead character, ‘Joanna Chang,’ played by Kirstin Kreuk.
