Our review of Netflix’s Warrior Nun starring Alba Baptista, Tristán Ulloa and Kristina Tonteri-Young. Inspired by the Manga novels, Warrior Nun revolves around a 19-year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she is now part of an ancient order that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth, and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her.

We also talk with actor Louriza Tronco! Louriza plays Gabrielle Dupres on the Netflix series The Order. She joins us to talk about the latest season and more! Louriza Tronco was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She landed her very first professional theatre gig at the age of eight with Rainbow Stage’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as part of the children’s choir. From there she explored musical theatre and wanted to try film just to shake things up a bit; before you knew it, she fell in love with the craft. Her film credits include Disney Channel’s TV movie Zapped, My Boyfriends’ Dogs, My Life as a Dead Girl and Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.
