Show Notes:

FRIENDLY PANDEMIC REMINDER: Wear a mask, wash your hands (<20 seconds), cough/sneeze into your elbow, stay 6 feet apart and only go outside if it’s necessary. Also, DON’T HOARD!

We look at short film Stationary. Taking place in a parked car over the course of one afternoon, former drug dealer Jimmy confronts his drug dealing childhood best friend Che about the dangerous road she is leading her younger brother Gino down.

Our review of Muppets Now starring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Scooter. In the six-episode season, Scooter rushes to make his delivery deadlines and upload the brand-new Muppet series for streaming. They are due now, and he’ll need to navigate whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him. Overflowing with spontaneous lunacy, surprising guest stars and more frogs, pigs, bears (and whatevers) than legally allowed, the Muppets cut loose in Muppets Now with the kind of startling silliness and heartfelt fun that first made them famous.

We also talk with actor and comedian Susan Kent. Susan stars in the upcoming anti-rom-com Spinster with Chelsea Peretti. The film is set for release on iTunes Canada and Vimeo On Demand on August 7th! Susan will be on to talk about the movie and more! Susan Kent is both cast and writer on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, since 2012. Other TV credits include, Trailer Park Boys Seasons 11& 12 and TPB Animated Series, Little Dog, Mr D, Kids in the Hall’s Death Comes to Town, Republic of Doyle, and Hatching Matching and Dispatching. Notable film credits include the upcoming Spinster, and Hands That Bind, as well as A Christmas Furey, Hopeless Romantic, Relative Happiness, How to Be Deadly, and Grown Up Movie Star. Susan is a playwright and wrote and performed the Jerry duology. She is a member of the sketch group Dance Party of Newfoundland.
