We talk with actor Maria Sten! Maria can be seen on Swamp Thing, now airing on the CW! She talks about the series and more. Maria Sten was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and holds the title of Miss Denmark 2008. Now an actress, Sten started her career as a professional dancer and model. She debuted her first short film, which she wrote, directed, produced and starred in, at Uptown Short Film Festival and LA Shorts Fest 2016. Sten played the lead role of Jillian Hope Hodgson in the fourth season of the television show Channel Zero: The Dream Door. She portrays Liz Tremayne in the DC Universe television series Swamp Thing, which also stars Crystal Reed.

Our review of Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds starring Werner Herzog and Clive Oppenheimer. A journey across the planet and universe explores how meteorites, shooting stars and deep impacts have awoken wonder about other realms — and make people rethink their destinies.

We also talk with actor Avaah Blackwell. Avaah plays an Osnullus crew member on Star Trek: Discovery. She talks about portraying the alien being and more! Avaah Blackwell is a multilingual actress, versatile stunt performer and producer. Classically trained in Europe, Avaah began her exciting career as a performer upon graduating Prague Film School’s renowned “Acting for Film” pilot program at the top of her class. As one of 10 actors globally selected for PFS’ innovative program, Avaah is equally captivating when performing for stage or screen. Her recent on-screen credits include Jupiter’s Legacy, Star Trek: Discovery, EFC Movie and Secret Society of the Second Born Royals.
