FRIENDLY PANDEMIC REMINDER: Wear a mask, wash your hands (<20 seconds), cough/sneeze into your elbow, stay 6 feet apart and only go outside if it’s necessary. Also, DON’T HOARD!

We talk with comic writer Conor McCreery. Conor has made multiple appearances on the show and has always had fun on the show. He talks about his latest comic series from Boom!, The Last Witch. The first issue hit comic shops on January 6th. It’s the one time of the year when the witch known as Cailleach hunts the children of the village – so Saoirse, a brave and reckless young girl, decides this is the perfect opportunity to defy her father and discover the secrets of the witch’s tower! But the Cailleach captures Saoirse and her brother Brahm, forever changing their lives in ways they never expected. Now, Saoirse will have to save everyone she loves by discovering the truth about the mysterious mark on her shoulder – and embracing her secret magical powers!

Our review of Outside the Wire starring Anthony Mackie, Damson Idris and Michael Kelly. Set in the future, Harp (Damson Idris), a drone pilot, is sent into a deadly militarized zone where he finds himself working for Leo (Anthony Mackie), an android officer, tasked to locate a doomsday device before the insurgents do.

We also talk with comedian Gavin Stephens returns to talk about his latest comedy album, All Inclusive Coma (from Howl and Roar Records). Gavin Stephens is a stand-up comedian who skillfully balances playful irony and morbid silliness; he is known for his (really) quick wit and stream of consciousness comedic style. Gavin was featured in Montreal, & Toronto’s Just For Laughs Festivals. He’s appeared on Buzz, Comedy Inc., CBC’s Debaters and The Baroness Von Sketch Show. When he’s not performing or hosting the Uncolonized Podcast, he can be found practicing his knitting or cheering on the Raptors.  His perfect day includes watching cartoons, reading comic books and watching indie wrestling.

It was a great show!
